I’m so excited to share my two latest books with you! Writing these books has been a journey of creativity, discovery, and a lot of fun. Each book reflects a different side of my experiences and passions, from homeschooling to storytelling, and I hope they both bring joy and inspiration to readers.
Why I Wrote These Books
I’ve really enjoyed writing and sharing ideas through my blog. Over time, all of those ideas started flowing, and I thought, why not put them together in a book? That gave birth to Schooling at Home with Nerds:Stories of chaos, creativity, and choosing joy in homeschool life.
After finishing that book, a random thought hit me while I was at the grocery store. A scene was playing in my mind, inspired by a question one of my kids had asked earlier that day. I imagined them learning the answer in a magical, fantastical way—and that’s how The Realms of Knowledge Series began.
So, while both books are inspired by my life and love for learning, they explore very different sides of creativity. Schooling at Home with Nerds is for parents, giving guidance, encouragement, and a little humor on the homeschooling journey. The Realms of Knowledge Series is for children and families, bringing lessons to life through magic and adventure.

What inspired this book?
My little sister had just started homeschooling, and she asked me endless questions all summer. That inspired me to start a blog and share helpful tips, which eventually grew into a full book capturing my own homeschooling journey.

What makes it different?
It’s raw, honest, and personal. I share my story from the very beginning, including all the twists, turns, and experiments in different homeschooling styles.

My kids are endlessly curious and creative. After finishing Schooling at Home with Nerds, I had a vivid scene playing in my head at the grocery store. I realized that was how writers create stories! That scene inspired me to start this children’s series, blending fantasy with real learning experiences.

Ages 8 and up—kids who love adventure, magic, and learning in unexpected ways.
What makes the world and characters unique?
The characters are based on my kids, and the world is a mix of modern life and D&D-style fantasy. Magic and real-life learning coexist, making the stories both fun and relatable.
